Then, I trusted someone and got caught up by a scam and because of my naïveté - I was accused of being the scammer.
Just nasty mods over there. With an attitude like that, their own mind is hell on earth for them. We don't need to worry about them getting their comeuppance. I was banned for narcissistic abuse after being a valued contributor for months because of some dumb reason I think I cut and copies the same advice to two different posters telling them about self care etc. they suck. I'm so fascinated by the timing of this. I literally just joined reddit a number of weeks before stumbling across FDS on there. Which was just days before FDS left reddit. Where has FDS been all my life.. Ironically it was another sub subtly badmouthing FDS that led to my discovery of it. So i guess not all publicity is bad? haha But in all seriousness, Kudos for creating this space and what a godsend. Thank you all for enduring what you did for so long. I'm happy without Reddit. I just listened to the podcast regarding Reddxit and while the ending was fucking hilarious, I truly get it. That site is a cesspool.
As much as I admire this move, I wish I could access the old posts on the sub. The sub was such a treasure, it was a catalyst for a radical change in me. Don't get me started on the posts that I saved for later, gosh I feel like I lost a limb. UDeserveβ This and all of the saved comments with great advice. Gone due to the mods tantrum. Completely unacceptable that less than 10 people got to make a huge decision affecting over thousand and that's just the ones who were MEMBERS. Tons of female lurkers now left with "but did you try therapy? I hang out there a lot and I miss this group so much!!! Your posts ladies are what keeps me going about improving myself and not feeling low for being single.

I was so bummed to see FDS gone right during the Amber heard trial. Would really like to hear that take. Totally understand why you would leave just watching the trial even after the abuse being discussed and never denied only rebutted the support is by and large for Depp, including from women and even battered women. Been on Reddit for a REALLLY long time. Probably 12 years or so. I had gotten down to just FDS and occasionally curly hair or skincare addiction but without FDS I think it's probably time to finally cut the chord. It's a terrible place. Hope to see this space build out! I can understand the decision to move from Reddit to here.

It's been a while since I've noticed that all dating subs are flooded with absolute incels, any advice sites are circle jerks that blame women for literally anything.
